Ropography Japan on 12Seconds TV

On my previous video http://12seconds.tv/channel/jimatwood/209815, I used transitions from frame to frame. Due to the short time frame, this caused the quality of the video to be reduced slightly. On “Ropography japan”, my second video I elected to remove the transitions except for the last frame. I think with photos that have more detail, this retains the quality for the most part. Again the video was rendered Youtube style in HD in 16:9 (Widescreen). On a test run I used 4:3 (TV) and it came out like total crap. The 16:9 looks much better but obviously there could be other settings involved that I am missing. Note that I’m on a PC. Photos by Jim Atwood Photography at http://www.jimatwood.net

Video Box and idTabs on Ricochehost

I’ve seen some people on the web creating a video box using idTabs so I thought I would make one too. Again this is nothing new but it was cool to get it working and have it displayed nicely on the front page. The CSS was the tricky part in trying to achieve a particular look for the site, but ultimately I got the look the way I wanted it. My next little project will be creating a smaller version for some of my other sites. I am a big fan of large video since I am a photographer and I want my videos to be HD and “BIG”, but a small Video Box with idTabs would be cool for the sidebar.

A collection of Colorful Street Art Photographs taken in Nagano City Japan by Jim Atwood Photography at http://www.jimatwood.net. There is a lot of street around the Nagano City area these days. I am not sure who is doing it all, but there’s quite a bit. I enjoy the colors and the designs are pretty cool too.
