When I have to re-upload my videos to Vimeo I have to save and replace the description as well. You are not really replacing the video, but rather "soft" deleting the video and some settings. Be careful to save your "well thought out" description otherwise you'll have added frustration in remembering what exactly you wrote. Luckily I save my description on <a href="http://delicious.com/jimatwood" rel="nofollow">http://delicious.com/jimatwood</a> so that I could copy back over again. Just FYI.
