Catching Twitter Quitters
I just stumbled upon a website that aims to help finding out who “unfollowed” or “quit following you” on Twitter. I think this is interesting information because there are a lot of people who simply want to be followed, but not follow anyone else. They may follow you and then later unfollow you for some reason or another. Perhaps there might be a good reason which is fine, but regardless, I think it’s very helpful to know who unfollows you. I wish Twitter was more helpful in this matter. So what do you do? How do you find this info out?
Well, so far I’ve only been able to find one free service at http://useqwitter.com/.
Qwitter e-mails you when someone stops following you on Twitter with a message like this:
John Gruber (gruber) stopped following you on Twitter after you posted this tweet:
What’s the difference between Arial and Helvetica?
I only just started using this and will update my post once I determine whether it works to my liking or not. Anyone know of any alternatives on getting notified when someone pulls the plug on following you?
